The Orff Schulwerk tree, symbolizing the connectedness, the diversity and the growth of the Schulwerk and the many Orff associations around the world was created by Dr Hermann Regner (1928-2008) in the early nineteen eighties. Professor Regner, who was Director of the Orff Institute over a number of decades from the late sixties onwards, was also the instigator and initial Chair Person of the OSF in Salzburg and created this visual symbol himself.
