Orff New Zealand Aotearoa is offering a 6-day Level 2 Orff Schulwerk course appropriate to the needs of both specialist and generalist teachers working in early childhood, primary, intermediate and lower secondary school settings.
This course, with an emphasis on hands-on interactive processes further explores the Orff approach which is characterised by the integration of speech, movement and music with a focus on improvisation.
This course will be taught by
Christoph Maubach (Senior lecturer, University of Waikato)
Renee Morin (Kristin School Albany, Auckland)
Millie Locke (Orff practitioner and PhD candidate, University of Waikato).
The course may be taken as a stand-alone Level 2 course and successful completion of this workshop entitles participants to certification in Level 2 Orff Schulwerk.
