In association with the University of Waikato,Orff New Zealand Aotearoa is offering a six-day Level One workshop in Orff Schulwerk in Christchurch. This course will be led by renowned Orff educators,
Renee Morin (on her return from study at the Orff Institute Salzburg) and
Millie Locke (Classroom practitioner,Henderson Valley Primary School) with local presenter
Celia Stewart working alongside them.
The workshops may be taken as a stand-alone Level 1 workshop and successful completion of this workshop entitles participants to certification in Level 1 Orff Schulwerk.The workshops have been designed to compare with levels of Orff Schulwerk training offered in other parts of the world
This workshop is able to constitute a module contributing to the postgraduate paper at the University:
Orff Music Education:Theory and Practice I.
